I'm hoping they give Cookie some teeth. I think she could be just as ruthless as Lucious. Jail have to taught her something.

Cookie aint written like a punk, and both don't need to be as ruthless as Luscious.  The show then becomes a cartoon (see GH).  Luscious will fall, but it won't be for long.  I have a feeling they are setting up a "Who Shot Luscious". You heard it here first.

I like that she got her sons back. But I'm talking about when it comes to Lucious. Like she came up in that party. He stole one of her client, now her next move got to be just as ruthless.

How did Lucious steal Becky G away from Lyon Dynasty? Didn't she have a contract with them? If not, why didn't she have a contract? The business aspect is one of show's downsides - it's just not very believable.

Best scene was definitely Cookie dragging down all that food.

I don't know if she did. It was never really addressed. If so, I don't think she could breach contract like that. Those little business errors are things that Empire needs to tighten up on. One of my few little gripes about this season. Other than that, it's still perfection compared to most on TV. And it's a helluva lot better than all 4 remaining soaps.

It could be one of those contracts that are a trial basis that either party can walk away from at any time.  Its very possible, Valentina doesn't have a long term contract with LD.  There has to be out clauses, which is why Tiana always tells Cookie/Keem that "if this is the kind of business...".  How did LD get their hands on Tiana if she was an Empire artists?  Has to be an out clause.

That would be the best explanation. I just wish they'd have someone drop a line giving us some indication.

I don't think it was ever indicated that Valentina signed a contract, all she was shown doing was working with Lyon Dynasty.

I think they was waiting to see if she can generate money then present her with contract.
