There might already be a thread covering this news or "The Late Late Show" itself. If so, my apologies, and by all means, please merge.

Here are two articles detailing this development:

I will man up for once and express exactly how I feel. Okay. Here it goes.

I think Stephen Fry should replace Craig Ferguson as host of "The Late Late Show."

And I think Hugh Laurie should be his first guest.

There. I've said it. And I'm not taking it back. So do with that as you wish.

(...if that's okay with you, of course. No pressure.)

Khan, I will really miss Ferguson, as I felt that he was so underrated (and underappreciated by CBS).

I personally have no opinion as to who should replace him.

Khan, though I like her current show, I think it's safe to say that Chelsea Handler won't be taking over. It seems she is close to getting a show on Netflix, which is probably for the best. For her fans and the alternatives (I will refrain from using the embarrassing "haters" term) like yourself!

It's okay, Bright Eyes. You can call me a "hater" if you want to. ;)

I really like Craig Ferguson. His show was niche enough that he had on guests that other shows wouldn't. Craig's show wasn't about plugging product, it was about having fun and some interesting conversation. But he was there at the behest of Letterman, who produces the show. Once he was gone, Ferguson's fate was sealed.

Rumor is that Joel McHale got the gig. This morning Julie Chen tweeted a picture of herself and Les Moonves (President of CBS) having dinner with Joel McHale

Damn E is really going to take a beating losing Joel and Chelsea at the same time.

Did you hear Chelsea's latest interview with Howard Stern a little while back. E! is freaking joke. They deserve to burn.

I actually didn't…Which is weird cause I usually keep up with all things Chelsea. I'll have to check it out.
