Yep. I remember there was "Manhattan Lives (a.k.a. Body and Soul)" as well as one based in Hawaii. And wasn't there supposed to be one centered around Doug and Julie or did I imagine it?

I don't know about Doug and Julie, but there was talks of one with Mickey and Maggie when they lived on her farm in Brookville. And, of course, the dreaded Salem High spin-off as well.

The days spin offs I know of being considered were the Hawaii one, a Doug/Julie based one, Manhattan lives with Carrie and marlena, Maggie/Mickey on the farm, Salem high with jack/jen and the newspaper, the island, and I believe a California based one in the 80s. Of those Manhattan lives and Salem high came the closest.

I don't recall a California-based spin-off in the 80s but one featuring Calliope. And I think the Doug/Julie spin-off was to also feature Neil and Liz. That was around 1982.

A DAYS spinoff would be the smart thing to do. Especially if they pick the right cast, preferably with characters like Marlena, Julie, Doug, etc., leading the cast. They'd already have an audience and characters the audience cares for. And DAYS does have a plethora of characters from an almost 50 year soap that they can use to implant on this show.

Corday would be kind of dumb to not propose this.
