Also KDP is the same age as Billy Warlock who played Frankie Brady on Days . Eve and Frankie were a couple in 1990-91. Maybe Billy could bring Frankie back as well

I know some are upset Charlotte Ross isn't returning, but she's a series regular on Hit the Floor, so I don't know why people expect her to be available full time. I think this is a strong recast and the character has been gone so long that it really isn't a big deal. I know she's too old for the role, but she looks good for her age. Even Charlotte Ross was going to look ridiculous at this point.

i guess those rumors that DAYS was talking to her were true, and she declined.

i think this could turn out to b good... it shows that DAYS had plans for the character before they cast KD, as apposed to them casting KD and trying to build a character around her.

Um, KDP is about 2 feet taller than BW!

She's not who i would have cast, but I don't have much of a problem with age and looks discrepancies on soaps, so I'm keeping an open mind. I enjoyed KDP as Blair and this has the potential to be a really good role.

KDP's acting abilities are not in question here, at least not with me. This is just a miscast, plain and simple. They need to remove Shane from the canvas to make this remotely believable and that would be a shame!

The sad part about this is that once they determine this is a bad idea, it will take 36 months before she's written out.

That's nice, but the essence of the character should not.

KD will play her typical self, and that's fine if that's what they want. She just won't be the same character to me. Total miscast, not that I think KD is much of an actress to begin with...
