Members Soaplovers
So a newbie character (Jeffery) has the most airtime.. guess something from the ABC era carried over. He was instantly featured quite a bit, when he should have been eased in slowly.. plus, not been in almost every episode. Hopefully, a little more balance in season 2. Members Cheap21
Jeffrey may be new, but I can take appreciation in that a black male leads the pack. That's something we didn't see on ABC!
Members alexisfan07
I'll post both for sure Rob Gorrie had the top episode count, Corbin Bleu was in one less episode than he was.

Members greens_dupres
Corbin was definitely used a lot- there's no disputing that but he wasn't really driving his own story from Day 1 or even halfway in. I think they did a good job working him in- they pretty much used his entrance to reinvigorate the Banner. He didn't get his own big plot point with the tattoo reveal until the tail end of the season. Before that, he was largely supporting in the Viki/Clint/Banner stuff and secondary to Dani/Matthew and later Michelle in the apartment. The flirtation with Destiny was played occasionally throughout the season but it was hardly mega story.
Members John
IMO OLTL did a great Job bringing Jeffrey into Llanview thru Viki, Matthew & Dani
Members Cheap21
His intro was good but then they ruined that by saying he's been a plant in their lives for at least 6 years

Members greens_dupres
Putting aside some dicey timing on the boarding school stuff (which I can live with on a soap), I loved that we found out that he had been infiltrating their lives after we had seen weeks of what appeared to be very genuine relationships with Matthew & Viki. Members CBRVA83
The writers on OTL 2.0 had Jeffrey's background story that he first met both Matthew and Dani at boarding school in London, when in fact Matthew wasn't there at that boarding school for that long! We never even saw him and Dani meet Jeffrey at that boarding school on screen at all, and both Matthew and Dani actually shared time and scenes with another student there named Thomas instead back on ABC's OLTL. Members Vee
CBR, Matthew spent a couple of weeks at least at that school onscreen according to "soap opera time," which you know is notoriously fluid. He made friends with both Dani and his roommate, Tom. It's perfectly reasonable according to soap time to assume he met Jeffrey through Dani there when we didn't see it onscreen, and that they continued that friendship long-distance. Just because we never saw Jeffrey doesn't mean it didn't happen. That happens all the time on soaps with offscreen backstory and friends and characters old and new - Jeffrey's backstory is not unique. It's also possible that more people are members of the tattoo cartel, even though we haven't seen their tattoos yet. Same old story.
