Marin Gazzaniga-written episodes are divine!

Loved Jack/Todd and Jack/Viki scenes. Glad Jack is concerned he might be like his dads. We found out what he went to Todd's room to say originally. We saw how compassionate he is with how he got help for Todd though, so I think Jack will be fine, and looks like Viki feels the same way.

Wish Viki and Clint had been able to do their quickie wedding. When the shoe drops that they have bankrupted themselves, it won't be pretty.

Loved Cutter and David trying to help Vimal -- I just hope it doesn't backfire and ruin Vimal's relationship with Rama.

Great Destiny/Nora scenes. Liked Destiny not wanting to feel like a charity case. Liked Nora showing her Matthew's old clothes and teddy bear, and Destiny taking them.

Oh my, so Victor killed someone?

Which other eps has Marin written? Its interesting finding patterns with the specific scriptwriters.

I hope for more Cutter, David, Vimal scenes. Its an odd combo on paper but it so worked.

I was so disappointed when I heard they weren't recasting Jack. However, now that AT has played only opposite vets & in family scenes, I am appreciating him & his efforts to improve. Never expected to type that.

I liked the Destiny Nora scenes too although I initially found it a little awkward when Nora was babbling on about Matthew as a child. If I was Destiny, I would be like Love you Nora but don't need to hear about your darling son who yesterday told me I should have had an abortion. But then I thought that Destiny taking the stuff, saying she was going to tease Matthew about it & that she wished he was involved really nicely sets up that she's not totally done with him despite his jerky behavior. Which will make for good stuff when she gets closer to Jeffrey and Matthew inevitably starts to take more interest in her and Drew.

Is it Tuesday? I feel like this episode aired weeks ago, not days.

Sorry, I don't have a full list of the episodes Marin Gazzaniga has been the scriptwriter for. I just remember never being disappointed by one of them or feeling like there were major problems. A search brings up that I mentioned she was the writer for Tuesday, April 30th and Thursday, May 2nd from the first week.

I suspect we would have had a few withdrawals next year if Israel had won. I don't think many people would relish going to Jerusalem as things stand now. Not to mention it would have been a prime target for terrorist attacks.
    • And they've given us plenty. Sets, outdoor scenes, music licensing, etc. And that was the point of me using DAYS... so. It's obvious the casino set is not intended for long-term use, hence why it's likely it wasn't as evolved as the other community sets, etc.

    • I just had thought of how to save the Perkins family. (Inspired by Rituals) -- What if Marisa Perkins was Augusta Lockridge's sister? Fictionally, they could've both been local girls, one married rich and one married poor. Originally, I was going to suggest that Marisa be Sophia's sister, but then I realized Joe and Kelly would've been first cousins.  Of course, it would've truly inspired Sophia was if Rosa Andrade sister, with Rosa and Santana moving in to help CC raise the kids once Sophia disappeared.  While this could've avoided both gross CC and Santana affairs, the times were not right for a story about intersectional inequity.

    • The Perkins family had potential to be a nice alternative to the more dysfunctional Capwells and wackier Lockridges... but I think a few factors did in the family. 1) Recasting of Joe Perkins 2) Bad casting of the Perkins Patriarch, and the one note writing for that character. 3) Lack of antagonistic interaction between the Capwells/Lockridges and Perkins.  (There was no awkwardness between Jade/Ted.. or CC disapproving of his son being friends with that Perkins girl, etc). 4) Wasting of Jade thus wasting the potential of the actress (which was realized on Days of Our Lives).  She had more potential than Laken oddly enough. The only member of the Perkins family that had appeal and a somewhat thought out story arc was Amy.
    • @GymnastGuyThanks for posting the three new Capitol 1985 episodes today. The two labeled March 12, and 13 are misidentified. The March 12 labeled one actually aired November 12 1985 which I figured out because Kenny Rogers' movie Wild Horses aired November 12th and it was announced over the "March 12" Cap credits. In addition, Craig Carlson is listed in the April credits but not the March. Craig left Capitol sometime after July 1985 before he rejoined OLTL in the credits by October 15, 1985; he was replaced on Cap by Radcliffe and Hamner. In these posted episodes Radcliffe/Hamner names appear in the March 85 episodes but not in the April.
