April 1, 201312 yr Member Per SOD Y&R is looking to cast a latin male in the role of "Julian." There looking for someone between the ages of 27 & 33, plus no accent.
April 1, 201312 yr Author Member Geez, they need to think about casting some female characters. They were casting a female investigator. I didn't hear who they cast yet though.

April 1, 201312 yr Member LOL! I thought the same about the no accent. So f'ing tacky and stereotyping. Explains a lot about CBS and its issues.with diversity. Someone needs tweet Angelica McDaniel about that [!@#$%^&*].
April 1, 201312 yr Member What they are really saying they are looking for a white person to play the Latin part. Maybe somebody should tell them that Latin comes in all colors. Why they can't get that guy that plays Rafe to play the new role? Would anybody remember him as Rafe.
April 2, 201312 yr Member I wish they'd bring Rafe back. I actually always thought the actor was pretty bland. And he is only connected to Billy these days which is a waste as well, so... I did like the Adam twist back then, though.

April 2, 201312 yr Member He's not Latin Who's not Latin? If your talking about that guy who plays Rafe, I know that. The description of the new latin guy is somebody that doesn't have a accent. That guy that plays Rafe fit right in.
April 2, 201312 yr Member As ridiculous As it sounds, if it's for an Adriana/Alex sibling the "no accent" part makes sense because both of them are Latin with no accent

I do know plenty of people who are latin with no accent though;they are all second and third generation.
