I don't hate Carly. But Skye was a worthless bint who bitched about the breakup of her marriage to Jax, but made her bed and had to lie in it. I don't blame Brenda. Jax was going to run to Brenda the minute he got a chance, Skye just misplayed her hand horribly and she was useless on GH. So, if Skye comes back I hope Brenda hands her another drink

I don't usually hate characters too often, but I hate Skye. I thought she was out of place on GH and Sax was soooo forced because Vm was returning. I don't think J&B acted great in the situation, but it was clearly a marriage built on plot points so I didn't care much. I think RC is a great actress and very beautiful, but there is something cold and unlikable about her, IMO. I never felt sorry for that girl. Besides, Jax dumped Brenda on her ass and he STILL didn't take Skye back. Never did. I think that says it all, since Jax is a glutton for punishment. He will take Brenda and Carly and even Courtney back after they cheat, but never even entertained the idea of hooking back up with Skye.

Watched the anniversary show...

Once I skipped Brenda/Jax/Sonny/Carly and Helena and the Spencer losers, I enjoyed it. I actually thought Rick's return made sense, although I still want to see him with Lesley again. Stuart looked very frail but I was happy to see him. I would have preferred seeing Dawn instead of Emily, but Natalia Livingston looked so happy to be involved that I was happy for her. The scenes were sweet, not too sappy, not too "wacky."

Audrey and Liz were easily the highlight - a wonderful performance from Rachel Ames, with strong support from Becky Herbst. I felt like this was a goodbye to Audrey, and one that she deserved. I'm glad she got the chance. I also loved the flashback they chose.

The tribute to Steve in the guise of "the hospital goes on" was more than fitting, good work from Jason Thompson and especially Sonya Eddy, who really can act when she's given the chance.

I thought these elements were probably close to the best anniversary tribute GH could have in its current state. I'm glad I got a chance to watch it. And while I rarely have a kind word to say about these two, I will thank Ron and Frank for those Audrey scenes.

Wow, I can't believe Helena is dead. I hope they have a cassadinish way of reviving her. CT was great in the role and was wonderfully dressed all 15 years. I think my favorite Helena memory is when she killed Stefan and was kissing him with a hint of incest, and then ninja Helena out to kill Chloe all in black.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
