Has a "couple" ever broken up this many times before actually being a couple? It's so damn tired and old. This is clearly the weakest story on the show and yet it just keeps trucking along.

what do you mean before becoming a couple? Dan and Jen most definetly are one. This nonsense is reminding me of the constant break ups and makeups of Spinelli and Ellie on GH

Can you be considered a couple if you're only ever together for 24 hours tops?

i would say so. Besides they did date for months prior to this story so they've already been established as a couple

If these were teenagers, I could probably get the 'break up/make up' every week but these folks are in their 40s. Tomlin has to stop writing them as these fresh faced innocent lovers with the 'big bad people' coming between them.
