Michael Fairman did an excellent job with his show interviewing Darnell and Debbi. The Soap Press was all over saying they would have hired this one or that one for the job but yes, he was just fine with the callers, interjected questions of his own, laughed along with Darnell and Debbi. Seemed like he was in sheer joy heaven interviewing them. Yes, I also got the feeling that he enjoys both shows and is really doing what he can to support both shows. He was joking with Darnell and Debbi and very in tune to them. He is doing fine.

I wish when the new writers were announced they had also announced the new storytelling mode. Now people will totally freak out when things are different when the second season comes around. PP isn't thinking as not everyone will have listened to the podcast.

Yes it doesn't influence the first forty shows, but when you change your model of how your storytelling will be and swap writers as part of this it would make sense to share all the news at the same time. The PR about this gave no indication that the plotting would be more in a telenovela style, so I feel like they missed an opportunity then. Some people thought they may go that way (rumors/speculation) weeks ago. If not then it should have been shared in the release about the end of the seasons that changes are coming with the storytelling as well for season two (they tease it.) Instead it gets dropped in a podcast, that being said I'm glad Jen dropped it, but I feel like their PR team needs help. (See the no cursing issue release...)

I'd love if the podcast would do an interview with the new head-writers for both shows... We got to briefly meet Jessica Klein on the More episode, but I'd like to hear from Marin G... a former HBO employee.

Holy sh*t. I keep waiting for his Twitter to disappear at the insistence of ABC but he keeps living to tweet another day.

Wow. Just wow. Just why does he feel the need to do this publicly?

I'm sure he'll delete it soon.

I have real appreciation for what he's done for both shows but I am done with this !@#$%^&*] as a person, or at least as a professional. He has no idea how he comes across when he takes to Twitter hectoring people about SORAS - like I said, no other HW has done that, they have the common sense to just let people bitch and keep doing them (and personally I think if Derek Wells is Julian Sr. on GH the SORAS is not a big deal) - or anything else in defense of himself. He has a very thin skin and a huge ego. And people just keep enabling him.

Ron needs to get off twitter. It's not a good place for him and he clearly can't handle the criticism. But sadly, unlike many many of his other outbursts, he's not wrong this time and that's all I think I should say about that.

Is head writing a show not time consuming? I'm just confused as to where and why this man has so much time to be so ridiculously unprofessional.

I don't see how. The actors back up what Pepperman had to say about their willingness and availability. Assuming that is what he's moaning about.

You are welcome to PM me, I promise I won't get mad.

wub.png times a million. Times ten million- focus on fixing your Franco mess Ron. His 47 tweets about SORAS today were cray cray enough but this is just taking to a whole other level of unprofessional. And she's spoken highly of RC & especially FV before. I didn't feel like anything she said last night was an attack on them but more like candid statements about their challenges in being down to the wire with regard to writing in those characters & maybe some general statements about harm to the show that sound like something a lawyer might tell her to say in a deposition.

    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.
