OLTL: The Prospect Park Era (old production thread)

Hmm, Josh Kelly would have added some "edge" to Joey, which is what that character desperately needed. Though, I don't know about Degnan pulling off Cutter.

I hate the idea that every male character needs an "edge" (which usually involves either treating women like crap or stealing money for asinine reasons). Joey was a decent guy. You can be decent and still be a male lead.

Wait so the latest rumor is that the original CJ is back and his real life sister might be playing his on screen sister? AWESOME. We need Cord and Tina though!

Remember how Josh Kelly was originally supposed to Joey then they recasted w/ Tom Degnan only to have JK assume the role of Cutter

OMG I forgot about that. How strange, we'd still have Joey around today. Or would we? As much as I love Josh, I don't think he fits as Joey.

Oh, no, I don't want Joey to be an abusive rapist à la Todd /Victor Jr...but I think JK would have added a tad bit of naughtiness to the role, as he did with Cutter.

After years of "I bet the new guy they hired is CJ" on the boards during ABC OLTL, which obviously never panned out, it would be hilarious if PP actually brought the character back along with the original child actor.

C.J. is like Bigfoot at this point. I'll believe he exists only when he tramples my face with his giant paws.

Okay, that came out weirder than I'd intended.

DEAD. Love you guys.

The idea of one of Viki's kids being naughty wouldn't be that strange.

I mean this with all sincerity, but I truly hope AT has improved as a thespian, because he was truly laughably bad as Jack when we last saw him. I also hope we don't have to hear Scarface every other line either.

Speaking of Brett CLAYWELL, (Thanks, guys.) there were so many missed opportunities with Kyle & Rebecca. Remember, his sister was Todd's TWU WUV before Blair was even in the picture. I was shocked at how poorly the KAD story was done. It was a slap in the face to those who were fans of the '93 storyline.

Wait wait, so nowhere did anyone say Tyler was playing CJ? Maybe he was just there because his sister joined the show and he was showing support. Could it be just a coincidence?

OMFG I forgot about that, too! Damn

don't forget they showed Todd/Victor Jr. not even reacting to Rebecca's corpse...

I wonder if there was a different HW, the storyline could've been great
