OLTL: The Prospect Park Era (old production thread)

I'll probably be watching OLTL first. I didn't watch AMC while it was still on ABC (I've only seen clips and special wedding episodes on SN, parts of it when it was on ABC, stuff like that--most of it I know from the AMC book and magazines. And you guys, of course smile.png ), so I'm still contemplating on whether or not I should go through an AMC education on YouTube before I watch it on Hulu.

But I'm IN with OLTL! smile.png

Aside from Kelley's dress, I'm not too fond of what the teens are wearing. I hope those aren't their opening clothes, most of them don't even match each other. I like the idea of Viki & Clint and Bo & Nora sharing opening shots, they look very FOTH in my mind. But I'll be damned if queen Erika doesn't get her own!

I got a hunch, folks. May be just an incomplete set, but -

Matthew, Dani and Jeffrey are supposed to be pals. There's a shot in the new trailer of the three of them doing shots together on a couch, with a bare shelf in the background. That same set was seen in a twitter pic of CB and RG on set together. Later in the trailer, CB is on-set with Roger Howarth next to a bunch of cardboard boxes. Could the kids be moving in together? It could just be backstage.

It's really impossible to tell which of those outfits are for the opening and which are civvies - I'm pretty sure FL and HBS are in their street clothes though.

As I said in the AMC thread, it warmed my heart to see the old crew welcoming the new kids, and Jill Larson talking about James Mitchell. But I just love the new Llanfair - it's the same but better.

I think if there was ever a time to get into AMC, it's now. Not only because the shows need our support, but because it should be very easy with the five year jump. Pretty much everyone is going to be working on a "huh? What happened in the background here?" curve. So, you won't be alone. :)
