I don't care for Jersey Shore, but hey, TV stars bring in viewers and soaps have always used fthem. OLTL used Kim Kardashian, GH uses all those DWTS people. I think Y&R had someone on not long ago. As long as she's in and out it's fine by me. I'm just curious as to who Malakouti is.

Jersey Shore's pop culture moment has been over for about a year now. But I guess that nice, I always liked what I've seen of Jwoww.

That set they were on looked incredibly bare. I assume one of the characters is just moving in?

Things are getting rowdy here in Llanview! Jennifer "JWOWW" Farley is joining us as Nikki, a bartender at Blair Cramer's trendy nightclub "Shelter." Blair's definitely going to have to keep an eye on this one!

I was hoping Blair would be back at the papers or her magazine again. Or Melador! Remember Melador? Ron Carlivati does.

Ideally she'll hold down both the club and another job, but we'll see. The club does look nice though. The reality stars don't faze me - every soap has always traded in RL celebrities like that from time to time.

C'mon girl--if you knew how they listed randoms in episodes of the soaps on the networks, this would be nothing new.

I think they actually used Kim's sister--have no idea her name. It was ridiculously awful, but it was maybe 3 minutes of scenes--and I don't think did any harm (and it got them a bit of press.)
