Hope and Cole died a year ago, the stuff with Tomas was months ago. It makes perfect sense for it not to be immediately brought up. Especially if you have something major like the reveal that Victor is alive. They also need to set up the rest of Llanview, since it is in many ways a new show. There is time for the GH stuff later on.

I don't know how anyone could come away from that with the impression that OLTL is "erasing" the last year on GH. Their exits were written on GH at least partially with this in mind. It's explicitly mentioned by KDP that she expects/wants Carly to come up. That was never even on the table.

I'm sure it's going to come up eventually, this is only the first week of taping.. Right now, the GH events are that important right now.. I think these surprises coming out and the family crisis Todd came back for is more important
