I know it's always dangerous to say "But AGNES is behind this," but.... *...* If this is the big pitch to bring James back to the show, I would suspect it WAS a character and/or idea Agnes came up with so--execution possibilities aside--the secret could be very cleverly tied into the show's history. And it could very easily incorporate or tie into one of the characters like Opal who we know well and is on the current canvas.

Fusion represented Brian Frons' limited vision and everything that sucked the life out of All My Children. I hope the company went bankrupt and ConFusion (with its godawful lighting) burned to the ground some time during the 5 year jump and they're never mentioned again. Give me Enchantment (and Val!) over that two-bit place any day.

Though obviously Nixon has no serious qualms about bringing people back from the dead, I seriously doubt she'd bring back Kitty. It's too extreme IMHo to bring back TWO 70s characters, even from the same actress, and (admitedly like Jesse), Kitty's death was pretty epic--I think it would be a bit much to believe she's been working in a girls' school outside of Pine Valley all this time. But... who knows, I guess. Plus James has never played twins at the same time, I'm not sure if she'd want the challenge.

She still could be connected. And saying the character has a big secret does not, IMHO, mean that the character already *knows* her secret (or maybe she does know she's Kelly, or Kitty, who said she had to be an amnesiac)
