I don't think so either... oh I hope she doesn't put that in...

That caller was one of the more intelligent ones otherwise--but no. SHe was an abandoned baby found on the street and I think her mom could have been a drug addict (the story was kinda rushed as it was finishing) but yeah, no AIDS baby. I believe Angie on The City did have some issue with AIDS and prejudice early on in her clinic, but....

I am never going to attempt to call Michael Fairmen again. My only question turned into 7. So it may be a good thing he never answered!!

All in all a reassuring interview--Ginger really seems to have a vision for the show, something Julie never seemed to. About half the callers were idiots ( :P ) but...

I know I certainly wasn't one of them

I meant you, specifically. :P

Nono, of course not. Even out of the people who asked the horrible "is so and so returning" some were fairly intelligent about it, others....not so much.

Yes and because she has so much history with the show, I don't think she'll be led around by fanbases at all. Its good I didn't call in- I would have been like Ginger, no one is here for Rylee or Brot & Natalia and please don't kidnap David Canary from well deserved retirement for a wedding so just forget those other people.

I am seriously going to maybe call next week for OLTL anniversary but with a solid question plan in mind.

Ugh you couldn't get through? Sad- they should have screened out some of the endless return/couple ship questions.

Did they say exactly what next week's show was going to be about or just OLTL?

One of Monday's episodes Ginger was describing sounds really good.

Did I hear right that although they haven't approached Carol Burnett she said Agnes has something written for Verla Grubbs?

OLTL's 45th Anniversary with "Surprise guests"

Ginger did give a spoiler for next week's AMC (not sure which one as she just said the 15th)

She said Monday's episode would be about mothers and daughters specifically--Cass and Angie and I believe she said Miranda and Bianca. She also said we'd see a new side of Colby--next week I believe as well--as she connects with Cass. Sounds good to me.

I do love that they remembered Cass and Colby were friends in High school

She said AGnes has written TO Carol--and that cameos like hers are more likely now that they have a production schedule more in place. She handled talking about missing actors really well I think.

And thanks to Cassadine, it really was great to hear how much Agnes is involved. I wish I knew more which story ideas were hers (the impression was Agnes liked and approved of the Cass story but didn't necessarily suggest it)--all she mentioned was the Billy Clyde/Joe scene which she did as a sort of favour to Ray McDonald who doesn't get much material like that. But the impression I got was that everything has to get Nixon's OK (and she obliquely touched on Nixon being less welcome at ABC in the last little while, which we knew).

I am really excited with those previews- it sounds like next week shows will have a lot of heart and some good dramatic stuff. I've been watching OLTL first but Ginger has me pumped for AMC next week so I'll switch it up.
