Just showed my mother the AMC Preview (ever since she retired three weeks ago, the woman's impossible to pin down) and she's excited! Although, the first words out of her mouth upon seeing Angie: "Is this heffa still blind?"

I wish we knew how long the episodes are gonna be, I'm guessing around 18 minutes if they're going to air on a traditional network in Canada that requires commercial time

It's cable--basic cable that still airs commercial unlike premium, but less than Canadian networks. 5 minutes of commercials or so per half hour. (And by law Canadian network tv has to air less commercial time than American--significantly in the daytime, so we usually get a few of the commercial spots for American shows--when shown on a Canadian affiliate--padded out by public service spots, etc.

(Probably about the same as F/X in the US airs)

I am really looking forward to the first episode like wishing I could fastforward time. P.S is it just me, or do some of the sets look familiar? not the exact same, but maybe like they were modeled after the ABC set.

Some are the same - i.e. Chandler Mansion is the closet, my guess because they are going to show "flashbacks" from the night of the shooting, and wanted it similar. Some are re-done i.e. Cortlandt Manor. Some are entirely new i.e. Jane's Addiction and Angie/Jesse have a house now, not a condo.

More than likely, someone watched her "Suzy Homemaker" video and (gasp) figured out how to watch AMC for free.

As most of you are aware, Prospect Park filed a lawsuit today against ABC. While we know that there are many opinions on this matter we urge all soap fans to keep one concept in mind, "One Family, One Goal...Stay Together." Please keep watching the soap families you have come to love and let the executives and lawyers deal with the rest in court. The soap casts and crews need fan support now more than ever.
