Your quotes are sadly true, but eventually if people really want to watch it, they will find a way to do so.

And hopefully a deal will be work out in time for those in Canada to watch.

OK, I'm praying that OLTL & AMC get to submit nominations to the Primetime Emmys instead of the Daytime Emmys. The Daytime Emmys are abysmal and have been for awhile. I think that OLTL & AMC transitioning to the Primetime Emmys, and possibly doing well will open the door for more continuing dramas to emerge, and open the door for the remaining four if/when they transition to the web too.

I have my doubts they'll get into the Primetime Emmys, without a new category being created, becuse they will be producing more than 150 episodes a year compared to Primetime, which ranges from 13 to 24 a season.

Why wouldnt they be in the new approaches categories like other web shows?

If they put them shows with the primetime shows, they wouldn't have a shot in hell of a nomination. I'd say they should make an exception and just treat them like regular daytime soaps and see how they compete with the others. Plus, the way they're being produced is more like a daytime soap anyway. I could maybe get behind them being in primetime if they were being produced more like a primetime show (similar to the British soaps or Degrassi). As long as they have the dated daytime look, they wouldn't be treated fairly in primetime.

I think they should just compete in the Daytime Emmy's, someway.

God I really hope this show doesn't revolve around Cady McClain and Dixie. I'm a little worried though from how prominent she's been in some of the lead up to the premiere.

I think it's mainly because she is so involved in social media--just like Jill. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Funny I've been getting the feeling it was going to be they Opal and Petey Show based on what's been promoted lately.
