Yes! Yes, I would! Time to start the beating of the drums!

What episode does that Claudette cap come from? IIRC, the only episode from that marathon she could have been in was the birth control pills ep, but I don't remember seeing her in it when it aired for the cancellation marathon.

Jennifer is fab and Grey's is one of a handful of scripted shows I still watch so the news was all fan-gurl information for me. I'm really thrilled for her. I don't like saying "screw AMC" but it is really great she landed a gig like this on the heels of 2.0 putting her aside for the time being.

I would love for Robert Newman to show up on the new AMC! I don't care if he's Ross Chandler (as others have said, he can play slightly older well), Jeff Martin, or Dan Kennicott.

ICAM with Cady's blog!

With PP taking so long to work out a deal with the Writers' Guild, I have to wonder if Agnes didn't write a story outline that the head writers are using now.

There were a few standout sets for me over the years, such as the Wallingford Estate, Cortlandt Manor, Linden House and the Valley Inn. By the 2000s, none of them were being utilized anymore.

Grey's is still my favorite prime time scripted show so I'm really excited for Jennifer to land a role on it!

I know it's been talked about a lot but I'd love to see the Valley Inn return.

Jennifer will be fantastic on Grey's. She's so great.

And in terms of the lighting for DAYS, jfung, I agree, too dark is not good but they could dim the lights JUST a tad lol, at least for me, but it's not a big deal at all. I also agree the park bench is getting old LOL, I'd rather they bring back the pier and give the park bench a rest. But back on AMC ... lol

Ohh ... LOVED Cady's blog. She'd be so fun to get drunk with LOL. She said a lot of things that probably needed to be said and I'm glad the actors aren't censored anymore. I trust Debbi and Cady and Julia so if they are happy with AMC, I think we will be as well. Will everything "meet our standards"? Of course not but I'm just thrilled we have this chance and it has everything it needs to succeed. It's personally just great to hear how appreciated they all feel and how well things are run, etc. Sounds like they're giving Agnes a TON of credit with the writing, over the two co-hw's, which is interesting to me. I mean, they aren't really 'known' and Susie and Thom are more 'known' but still ... weird. Probably an oversight maybe?

Also, it's kinda sad when I read comments on other places, I try not to but, folks just crying over no Greenlee, or Ryan, etc. and even Y&R with "Phyllis isn't in a storyline! where is she! waaaaah" it's the fact that all of those characters got SHOVED down viewers throats that the average viewer now feels the show "needs" them, you know? I'm not saying they can't be written a lot better, and be vital, but it was ridiculous under Frons. IDK why I brought in Y&R but I'm using it as example of this desire networks had to focus on a core few and repeatedly use them over and over and over again. I'm glad to see Cady say there will be balance. We'll see.

Erika Slezak's interview also has me just as excited for OLTL.

 I loved it when All My Children would incorporate these regular recurring characters, like Elise Flynn or Olga Swenson, into storylines.

On a related note, it was great to see Winifred in the final episode. I wonder if she'll make another appearance. Hopefully JR didn't shoot and kill her.

I think Burton Armus was the proposed writer who supposedly intended on bringing back Dan Kennicott along with bringing Tempo (Brooke) and Enchantment (Erica) back to forefront, and amping up the rivalry between the two women.

I think RN is a talented, beautiful man, and could certainly take him in any recast that would add to the canvas rather than a new character.

Great news for Jennifer Bassey. It doesn't sound like it would interfere with AMC, and it might also cause TNPTB to reach out to her sooner than later. Primetime guest spots don't pay as well as they used to - although the minimum still isn't anything to sneeze at (there is a great HBO special about "That Guy" character actors, who speak on the subject), so AMC as a regular gig would still be nice to have on her resume again.
