As hot as Rob's body is, I'm more interested in his face. It has a different look to it.

I finally broke down and watched a little of that soap show thing (Ace Young looks a little sickly and I wish Diana was blonde again, and just a tiny bit more low-key).

I rolled my eyes because I felt like they had the whole Tristan/CC/Madison segment based on wanting some conflict, more than genuine feelings. I'm not saying it's an ungenuine (is that a word?) feeling to say Agnes Nixon is suited to another era of writing, but just the way the scene came across felt fake to me.

I do wish someone had asked Tristan to not sit with his legs wide open, although he seemed to realize about halfway through.

Disingenuous.

And ! That immediately brought me back to Jesse Jackson sitting with his legs splayed wide open during Whitney Houston's funeral.

Catching up on the last week's posts. Love the Harlem Shake video. I think if Susan Lucci had been part of the cast at this point, she'd have been making out with someone. I mean, it is Erica Kane after all. Can't really picture her getting her shake on. Then again, I thought VI would do something other than be passed out on the sofa.

Apparently based on tweets someone on SOC found,

VI worked with an actor who was playing a prison guard on AMC, so it seems likely that David is or was in prison during this five year time skip.

Seriously hope that any naked David ass we see is not him in a prison shower. I'm all for naked VI though, as long as it's not in a sex scene with Dixie.

I am happy AM is coming back. I actually really do like her as Kendall. I just don't like her Kendall with Zach. I hope they let the characters move on.

What I really want to see is a true Kane family reunion with Erica, Kendall, Bianca, and Miranda. My great hope is that Erica is back at least temporarily by the time they do the "Miranda's father raped her mother and then she shot him" story we all seem to think is coming. I'd love to see Erica interact with her eldest grandchild, and I want the Kane ladies back together again.

Thats it right there, though. He hasnt even appeared in a scene on AMC but you just dont like him cause he posts shirtless pics on his instagram. IMHO your not being fair. If your already have strikes aganist him, you will never give him a fair shake as Pete

Thanks for correcting me that it was his Instagram and not his Facebook. No one forced him to post that picture so if it affects how I view him, that is something he controlled, not something where I am not giving him a "fair shake." We do know things about actors outside their roles. If he is that good, he can impress me on screen beyond what I see outside.

But I do have a bias against him because of things he has control over, and it is not a bias I feel any need to apologize for or find unfair. It is fair that I have a bias because I don't like how he looks and his vainness about it, when the show clearly partially cast him because of how he looks, in addition to whatever great or not great acting ability he may have.

LOL I love how things are getting projected on to me and I have to like Rob Wilson or else.

I didn't notice all this harsh condemnation, repeated posting, and enforcement of how people weren't giving Eric Nelsen a fair chance, when Eric Nelsen's looks, which I like, were being criticized by some. Where is the same level of defensiveness for Eric Nelsen? I just saw some good-natured "awww, I like the dorky look," etc., for Eric Nelsen -- not "You're bad for not liking how he looks! Can't wait to see how you react when X happens on the show!"

I already said I wasn't looking forward to the rumored nudity.

Meh. We all pre-judge to a certain point.

I was saddened for myself and scared for the female characters when I first heard Thorsten Kaye was coming to All My Children due to his run on One Life to Live and Port Charles. I also really, really didn't like the OLTL hair and it was almost like PTS. I had always felt that his characters sucked the life - or what was left of the life - out of good female characters, etc. I basically associated him with what stopped me from watching OLTL. He came on AMC and despite my pre-judgments, I thought his hair looked fantastic and that he was a really good addition to the cast until years later.

To be fair, I don't know a lot of people that are not off-put by people posting random vanity shots like that.

It's unfair to judge him solely on that for the rest of his life but I don't think jfung is intending to do that. jfung just has a bad first impression from the modeling history and vanity shots. That could change after watching the boy on-screen for a few weeks. Correct me if I'm wrong, jfung.
