GH: Discussion for the Month of February

Yeah, it was totally Mac calling but they clearly wanted you to believe it to be Frisco.

Yeah. This.

The followup has been bad. Let's not have Maxie share scenes with her absentee father of 17 years but let's have her help Britch scowl about and frame this annoying nurse. Oh but wait, according to FRon "everyone loves Sabrina". Um. no.

Yeah, that's "soapy goodness" right there. LOL. Oh Ron ... I try to be supportive when you try, but I just can't with some things.

I can't take this garbage:

  1. Britt: You're awfully snippy, considering I know whose baby you're carrying. And contrary to popular opinion, it isn't a baby-falconeri-to-be
  2. Britt: Well, the agreement was I'd keep quiet about you being pregnant with the wrong baby only if you help me destroy sabrina santiago.
  3. Britt: Lulu's my patient, too, and you're asking me to lie to her and pass off your baby as hers.
  4. Britt: Okay, stop stalling. You are doing this, or I'm gonna tell dante and lulu you're having the wrong baby.
  5. Britt: Will lulu forgive you when she finds out you're lying about your pregnancy?
How many times do we need to hear this in one episode? Mention it once, get the story moving. We didn't need to see Britt tell Maxie in five consecutive scenes that she's carrying "the wrong baby." It's a personal pet peeve of mine, the idea of forsaking the audience you do have and writing for the audience you don't. "Just in case someone who isn't or wasn't watching tunes in, we have to catch them up. Those of you who have been watching, chill out while we rehash the same dialogue for five scenes."

^^^^ I had the same complaints about Duke constantly mentioning that he was in a Turkish prison yesterday

This is why I always disagree when someone says Ron loves soap. He knows little to nothing about the tenets of soap opera. Other than nostalgia there seems to be zero reason Frisco is even there.

I swear if Ron were any more clueless, he'd be a fetus! He knows Frisco has a limited time onscreen, yet he brings him back for the most ridiculous reason? Maxie is pregnant as a "SURROGATE"!!!!! He didn't even call when she was ill. And lest we forget...GEORGIE IS DEAD! Where the !@#$%^&*] was he then? Then to talk crap to Mac? He should be thanking and bonding with this man. If JW's stay is limited, write it as such. Don't have him come make a play for Felicia and Maxie when the audience knows it's going nowhere!

Idiot!

I appreciate the use of the vets but it seems the show is going more for quantity than quality. I'd rather see fewer vets if if means more money and time can be used to utilizing them in a meaningful capacity rather than have a lot more on that so drivebys. This Frisco return is already botched IMO. They should have skipped and used this time/money on extending another's stint

Only vets I'm even liking (of the ones that they brought back on a non-contract basis) are Kevin, Lucy, and Duke. I love Anna and AJ too but they're contract.

Frisco's return has been slow paced and kinda turning me off. Even though, I do kinda like Frisco as a character now. And, Felicia....*zzzzzz* Also, I'm mad that she may through Mac under the bus.

Was Frisco on yesterday? If they knew they weren't going to have enough time to tell this story right they should have just left him alone. Returning because Maxie is having SOMEONE ELSE'S baby is kind of stupid considering she has gone through much worse in his time away.

Sadly, I think this was done for viewers like me who haven't watched in years and tuned in to see what Laura's return would be like; however, I didn't need Britt to say it more than once without catching on that Maxie lost her surrogate child and got pregnant the old-fashioned way without telling Lulu or Dante.

As far as Duke's comments, that was just weird since it felt like he was comparing being in prison to working at ELQ? I didn't get it.

I HOPE SOMEONE MENTIONS THE HARDYS!!! sad.png

If Rachel Ames is still alive and in good enough health, she better return for the Nurses' Ball!
