Why do soap characters believe in returning from the dead, fooled into sleeping with lookalikes, plastic surgery/face mask to look like someone else, but don't believe in vampires?

Hey did anyone else catch the oblique reference to another famous vampire from the soaps? McBain was holding a silver topped cane in the courtroom. Another famous vampire had a similar silver topped cane. Barnabas Collins.

Oh please. Carly and Blair are the same character. Todd does something that Clair can't forgive and she gets herself dolled up and go trolling in a red dress. Let's not pretend that under the same circumstances it's anything different.

Actually, Slagbeast is a quarter-water version of Blair Cramer and what you've described is the latest example of this - all the more reason why I wouldn't be mad about Todd leaving the canvas (due to whatever this OLTL/PP thing turns out to be) via Blair returning to PC to get her man up out of that tired heifer's orbit at all.
