The trouble is KEEPing the bitchiness indeed. It's not easy to do.

That's just it. I think since the '90s in particular, writers have all too often overcompensated when making "bad" characters sympathetic. They get reformed and suddenly we need a new "bad" girl/guy in town and we end up with a trail of redundant characters.

As for Miranda, I'm reminded of what a soap fan once shared about reading the bible for Somerset at P&G headquarters. Rachel's sister Pammy was to essentially be a carbon-copy of Rachel for the spinoff. If we don't get Erica on a regular basis, I really think they're going to run with this idea of Miranda as Erica 2.0 with Opal in the surrogate Mona/Myrtle/Opal seat.

Secondly, I'm all for the suggested. Spike being gay. He and Miranda scheming to get Little Adam, as there can NEVER be too many scheming Kanes. Emma swooping in and getting him, thus starting her longtime rivalry with Spike & Miranda. Kathy being tossed into the mix...

All of these suggestions gave me the vapors. I hope AMC 2.0 is this edgy.

I'd just want Lil A to be bisexual so there is a chance that Spike could get him. And a gay Chandler and gay Slater. . . I can see Adam having a heart attack and Zach too. It'd give Kendall/Zach good story (if all the proper beats are hit), along with the Chandlers too.

And LMAO at Erica being referred to as MM. I could so see her uttering those words. Or pulling a "Nene" and forcing her grandkids to call her "Glam-Mother."

I don't think Miranda should be like Erica. She has her own unique set of experiences being Bianca's daughter and having been in Europe for a bit when Bianca and Reese were married.

I remember there's a scene with Spike after Kendall comes out of the coma. She's gotten some jewelry and Spike is climbing on her to check out the karats and quality and he's displeased with it. They planted the seeds for this, lol.

First time posting here but I just had to weigh in. Come on, if any of the next generation is going to be the next bitchy Kane it's going to be Gabby. She should be a bisexual version of Erica. Let's face it all the reasons fans hated the storyline of her conception provide perfect reasons for her to have an attitude.

Also Spike being gay wouldn't be a gay Slater but a gay Lavery and I don't want to see Ryan's reaction.

I actually don't care if I see Gabrielle or Ian ever again. Bianca can be raising that tyke out of town when she's not in Pine Valley and Ian can be at hockey camp.

I see why fans had an issue with Gabrielle's conception. I don't see why Gabrielle would have a problem with her conception within the wall of Pine Valley because as written by Pratt the fall out was ultimately equivalent to Zach and Bianca returning a video tape late. Kendall got to be pissed for a month and then it was like it never happened.

If anything, Gabrielle is something that would add to Miranda's potential bitch quotient: Miranda may take what Bianca did with Gabrielle as creating the perfected or clean version of [Gab's] big sister.

Re: Gay spike. Spike comes with at least two daddies (potentially three as they could always change his paternity due to Greg Madden). Also, I think Cameron does a really good job with the kids so I wouldn't have a problem with him reacting to gay Spike. Spike's bitchy attitude would probably stem from the tension between his two daddies and Kendall's inability to stay in a stable relationship or something like that. <-- I think Kendall should return to town following being long-term divorced form Zach to help [Kendall's] sexy bitch quotient increase.

I just wish they could sign some sort of "no rape stories" contract. I never want to see them again.

Well I could see once finding out about the rape and birth, Gaby could be a source of more angst for Miranda however, I am thinking mainly how they have probably grown up. I can see Gaby growing up with a chip on her shoulder and being jealous of both Miranda and Spike.

Without knowing about Miranda being conceived by rape, Gaby could definitely see Miranda as the favorite/golden girl. Bianca named a center after Miranda. Even if she doesn't resent Gaby, Kendall would still have a deeper connection/affection with Miranda. Also Miranda has her birthday twin which, depending on what happened with Bianca and Marissa, means Gaby could have been the odd child out watching as AJ and Miranda played together.

In regards to her conception, she was brought in the world with two moms and a dad. One mom basically gave her up and her dad is more like an uncle. However, she would still have to watch Zach raising Spike like he was his son.

I could see where Gaby could grow up feeling her family favored the other kids over her which could lead to her Erica like desire to be in the spotlight no matter what she has to do or who she had to go through.
