I agree. I want to see more of Cutter and Alex. I'd love it if they snagged Tonja Walker for OLTL2.0. That tweet is quite mysterious but also implies something at the same time. Could just be she's seeking buzz and support, which I'm for.

As far as Walt Willey and Jackson ... I feel like if they aren't going to look outside of the box with him, then drop him. Seriously. HOWEVER, the writer in me can easily see them bringing on Sean, Molly, he has possibly Bianca and her kids, possibly Kendall, possibly Greenlee. He and Krystal weren't terrible together, but they also have Reggie and Lily. Jackson COULD be written for in a great patriarchal way but they just simply kept him as Greenlee's father and Erica's man. He's definitely more than that but he's become a victim of a veteran character who was sidelined by a writer and then just kept there. Veteran rut is what I call it.

Didn't Josh Kelly originally sign on for the reboot when it was first announced? Maybe if he's not busy he'd do it again. Cutter could have potential.

And in terms of signing cast members? Yeah PP brings a lot of 'fool me once ...' of course but we see so many soap stars pop up on web soaps all the time. Produce them on their own. Why not sign up for (IF actually happening) the show that they love and kept coming back to, network or not? I can see the appeal but also the major concern, which, I can also see why a lot won't. And I completely get it.

ITA. Even though I was a huge Jack/Erica fan back in the day, I think Jack would be more interesting now, as someone else said, that he has his balls back. I have no clue what WW was making, though, and I could see the people at Prospect Park considering him too much of a Joey Tribbiani type of soap actor to want to shell out a lot of money for.

I agree. I was kinda meh to Aubrey but yeah, I liked those characters. It was kind of insulting how they sent off Joey and Kelly yet kept Cutter and Aubrey and wrote better for them than Joey and Kelly (IMHO). I'd like to see Joey actually written for. I also think they're missing a great opportunity if they don't invest in the character of Kevin. Isn't he raising his grandson (that whole story irked me so I kinda forget about it). Why not show that? Have Cassie help him and they fall back in love. Or how about Tea helping out Kevin and they start doing it. Imagine Victor returning to THAT?

Aubrey was awful and boring towards the end. She lost any fire and personality she had when they had her become all sanctimonious and thirsty for a grieving Rex. Id rather not see her return as I really don't see much potential in the character. She doesn't really have any loose ends and creatively, was done by the time OLTL went off the air. I don't even think she's worth bringing back to create story for.

Cutter, now is a different story. Id start the show with him just getting out of jail and on parole. There's the Alex angle which is worth exploring. To be honest though, Im not sure there's much for him on OLTL. Id cross the character over and move him to AMC where he can work another con with people that aren't all too familiar with his backstory. Maybe he can get involved with an older rich woman like Liza

Joey and Kelly left because Gina Tognoni wanted off the show as soon as OLTL was axed.

I would like to see a Joey that actually sticks though. I want to focus more on the next generation of the Buchanan men. Kevin and CJ too.

I forgot Aubrey was involved with Rex. lol.... I hope Farah and JPL think they are too good for this project. I don't want to see duck lips and jazz hands on OLTL again

They need to get a better actor with more screen presence. No offense to the guy that played him, but his Joey came across like a dork and not leading man material. I think the character would have fared better had they stuck with the original casting of Josh Kelly in the role. He had much more appeal and charisma about him.

I agree with all of the above... it seems like Aubrey was the last victim of the vortex commonly known as Rex! I think that all potential was wasted for the character (given that one possible plot point where her real name was very similiar to a character's last name back in the late 70's/early 80's).

Cutter was not only a hot man, but was also an interesting character with loads of potential. I could see him on the show with the potential for visits from Mama Alex!
