WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

Apparently kassie DePaiva just tweeted that the show(s) will air on Hulu. Not sure if she used the right words, but I'm looking into it anyway.

Damn. Though they have claimed they may have it on a few different sites--Hulu has a pay option so maybe they want to show it commercial free there, and will use some other system (with commercials--and Canadian viewers hopefully) on theonlinenetwork or whatever.

I don't even know who this 'Nelson' person is ... but he sounds like he needs to tumble dry.

Sigh....the major media outlets always seem to screw up something when it comes to reporting on soaps...

Well they were only off by a decade (and 9 months) but hey, at least they spelled her name right. lol

I know what you mean! I remember when they said "James Mitchell, who played Palmer on AMC was only in 256 episodes out of the 30 years he had appeared on the show". They got that from IMDB. I know they did because I looked there to see before the news outlets reported it and I was like "Most Contract players appear between 100-200 episodes a year and he started slowing down during his last 5-10 years." That's what, 8 episodes a year??

That is sad....I think there was one article a few years ago that said Susan Lucci played Erica Kane on One Life to Live and another one that said OLTL aired on NBC...LOL.

So it looks like things may be correct on the green internet hub...looking for clarification.

Until I'm told otherwise, if Hulu does pick up the shows as it appears to be leaning toward, I think that'll be exactly what will happen. Also, AMC/OLTL are partially still on Hulu via web clips, so it's definitely interesting how they were never removed (their pages and all).

I'm currently 70/30 sure on it happening though.
