I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

I may be reading into it, but I also think McPherson probably has a co-headwriter and they've probably been working closely with Agnes to get the scripts ready to start shooting next month. I'd be very surprised if there isn't another announcement by the end of the week revealing who her partner is and probably more casting news as well (maybe I'm deluded, but I just can't believe they would go forward without any of the Martins).

What is it that you like about her? I never saw her stories on DAYS, so I'll reserve judgment. But a lot of posters are really coming down on her. Why do you think she's a good fit for All My Children?

I'd have to think it's just outlines unless they have a line of characters they're going to get no matter what ("original" actors or recasts).

I so want to tell someone that unlike them I actually "confirm" things with representatives. I don't go spouting stuff people, who are laughing at your ass behind your back for kicks, are telling you. You may have great/solid sources, but that doesn't mean every tissue you take from a roll has to be connected to your digestive system. Unlike a certain major publication that uses tweets from actors for cover stories or posts others makes as part of their news items, I actually do leg work. I don't sit around all day waiting for the next big story to break so that I can take all the credit for breaking it without checking with the right people first. I make sure people I write about know I'm writing about them before they see it and don't think I destroyed their confidence in me.
