I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

After reading the press release again from PP and some of the responses from other posters I realized this is only the "initial" list. PP is obviously in talks with other actors and production staff but because they didn't have names signed on the dotted line couldn't reveal them yet. I just hope we get Susan Lucci on board AMC.

Because Eddie is unavailable so they had to recast Matthew, probably figured might as well age him a bit, so they have to recast an actress to fit the new actor

Yeah, adding fuel to any OLTL conspiracy theories, the same company's OLTL mag had a bit less sturdypaper, was slightly smaller--and while I saw the AMC one everywhere, was, forme, impossible to find

(But if OLTL is getting this oral history book--and I sure hope they do--that's something).
