HOLIDAY MIRACLE: Prospect Park Back On Track To Revive AMC and OLTL

  • Member

WTF!!!!!

EXCLUSIVE: Here is a great holiday gift for soap fans: I’ve learned that Prospect Park has revived its plan to continue cancelled ABC daytime dramas All My Children and One Life To Live online. I hear the company behind USA hit Royal Pains has inked deals with SAG-AFTRA and DGA for the soaps’ production, eyed to begin in the first quarter of 2013.

No, she's not a "women". She's a "men". That's why her name is MrLlanviewPA.

Hey, on this board, even a "Miss" could be "Mr." I'm just saying.

Edited: ONLY because I'm only about 1 warning point from being banned and I don't wanna give TOPS a reason to click the damn button, since my other warning points came from similar posts.

XOXO TOPS

She is most definitely a girl. I can vouch for that.

No need to drag Bellcurve into this.

Dead.

I always thought her name, Mrs.Llanview PA refereed to Fiona Hutchinson because I thought she considered Gabby her favorite all time OLTL character. But then again, not everyone views their favorite character the same way I view Erica (who is indeed the Mrs. World to me LOL).

It was about the show itself, but Gabrielle IS my favorite! (along with Blair)

And I sorta agree with this POV instead. I think if Lucci manages to make several episode long appearances, we'll be fine--but I agree without her at all will be a hard sell. But the show's feeling was not completely gutted the way GL in particular was in its final years. There was still some recognition there and feeling for AMC. I daresay that's one reason both AMC and OLTL's cancelations left people more upset--ATWT and particular GL had been running on fumes longer and their final months didn't see much of an upswing to what could possibly be.

I think it was more because the soap press adored OLTL - not so much with ATWT or GL. Frankly I don't think anything in OLTL's last year was better than anything in ATWT or GL's last year, aside from one or two standalone episodes.

Not that I'm agreeing with the debates or even disagreeing, but OLTL looked better production wise than GL in particular.
