Members Y&RWorldTurner
The Grammy's seem so pointless these days, well, for a long time actually. How the hell did Ed Sheeran get a Song of The Year nomination, yet no nomination for Best New Artist? Something is up when Gotye is the only one I would root for in the main categories... Members Mr. Vixen
My boo Kelly Clarkson got FOUR noms!!!
Members Delia
I hate that they combined so many categories a few years ago.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
Woo! Gotye! He's the only new artist that has hit mainstream in years that I actually like.
Members Mr. Vixen
I hope Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) wins SOMETHING. That song is amazing/inspirational.
Members AdelaideCate007
I'm excited for all of Kelly's nods too. I rock out to Stronger everyday on my way to work! Even though I know she doesn't seem to have a lot of fans here, I like Taylor Swift and I'm excited We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together got nominated. It's just so damn catchy. I'm really excited about the nods for The Black Keys, Frank Ocean, and Jack White in AOTY, M83 in alternative album, The Lumineers & The Avett Brothers in Americana, and Swedish House Mafia in Dance for Don't You Worry Child. I hope The Lumineers or Alabama Shakes wins New Artist.
Members Ryan Chamberlain
New music just doesn't excite me for some reason it hasn't since the 90s.
Members AdelaideCate007
Ohhh, I forgot to mention Florence & the Machine. Love them. I like fun. too, but I'm tired of We Are Young. I'll have to look at the rest of the list later- there are so many categories.
Administrator Toups Posted December 7, 2012 Administrator Share Posted December 7, 2012 Maybe the Grammy's payback for last year's outlandish performance. Yay for Taylor!! I didn't expect WANEGBT to get nominated since her album will be eligible for next year's Grammys and not this years.
Members AllMyDaysatGH
OMG! [!@#$%] them for ignoring Nicki. Stupid hoes.
Members VirginiaHamilton
I'm also mad as hell that Frank Ocean is getting these accolades for his Autotune fuckery - especially since there are far more talented (openly) gay R&B singers who have more talent in their toe than he has in his entire 'repertoire'.
