All she's doing right now is propping Trey.

November 9, 201213 yr Member I meant more towards the beginning, when she first came on. No one could've made that dumb reality crap work no one. It was pure eyeroll material even Lindsey said she rolled her eyes reading some of those scripts. That screaming about getting into Yale and doing a reality show as payback was just dumb. They basically blew up nothing into something for the sole purpose of ushering on Trey. They need to actually write a story for Kristina where Kristina is the focus. It's the same problem Elizabeth has lately. All airtime revolves around someone else. Edited November 9, 201213 yr by chicklitsandfantasies
November 9, 201213 yr Member Another good episode today. I want Monica to rip Carly a new one tomorrow!
November 9, 201213 yr Member To me, a complex Bobbie/Carly relationship would have done a lot for Bobbie as a character. More than anything else the character had in her last ten years on GH. But I never felt like the show cared, at all. Bobbie didn't need a long and lost Slagbeast to do anything for her character, IMO, as she was rich enough of one to have plenty of story happen for her. I clearly remember her having a good deal of airtime and story prior to that canker sore's arrival, so I don't buy that that was a necessary road to take her down.
November 9, 201213 yr Member Re: Luke/Carly... I was younger so I probably couldn't interpret the storyline as I would at this but... Luke never had much use for Carly and never really acknowledge her I remember he always stood tall for his Barbara Jean; that's why I was shocked when (LW) Carly stiffed him from Jasper re: the purchase of the Metro Court Carly acted all warm and fuzzy they were in it together blah blah then she double crossed him served his ass right. He didn't speak to her forever because of it he was really ticked off. That's why he gets free room and board whenever he wants and runs up a tab... I wanted Bobbie with Noah Drake but accepted Tony with open arms cuz I just liked Tony.... it was the beginning of his ruination; I didn't even see the whole story line I stopped watching it; after Jason jumped up and down with glee ...in ruining his hands,.. there are three times for sure I remember stopped watching GH "the cottage storyline when Jason moved his ho in on Robin...and the meat hook and they all had to do with Carly.. the common denominator they were all ruined for slag/the Borg/ Stumpy. Even Robin took a big hit at the exit door because of Carly tellin AJ about Michael the Borg didn't speak to her for ten years. It seemed her and Sonny's relationship suffered as well. I read apost over at another forum that is awesome summing up Carly's impact on the canvas...it reads like it could have been made by someone here they pretty much summed it up so succintly that I bookmarked it don't know if its against the rules so... I've seen this answered several times over the years ... but again...when was Bobbies' last major storyline... I remember when Luke was allowed to verbally smack her down while standing tall and proud (in defense of his beloved sister), yet even he had to be turned into some shiftless bum in order to make her look better than she deserved to be. To say the the potential to see her rancid ass get what's coming to her via the return of AJ thrills me to kingdom come is the understatement of the millennium.

I doubt that, as not even the strongest of television actresses could make that shitstain of a character likable. That's what TIIC failed to understand in firing Krustina 1.0 and hiring Krustina 2.0, which is why such a decision never made sense to me.
November 9, 201213 yr Member I want Monica to rip Carly a new one tomorrow! Until that blessed day arrives, I'll warm my heart by rewatching this lovely gem (start from 1:07 on forward ): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9faqbaowGDs

I clearly remember her having a good deal of airtime and story prior to that canker sore's arrival, so I don't buy that that was a necessary road to take her down. By the last year or so before Carly arrived, her story was mostly about going to counseling and having that flirtation with Alan which I don't think fans were too thrilled with. The character was sort of at a dead end. I think the only story after this which really had potential for Bobbie was her marriage to Stefan. I remember watching her have the same boring scene with Roy DiLucca over and over and wishing they'd made more of an effort to give her an interesting relationship with Carly.

November 9, 201213 yr Member Another good episode today. I want Monica to rip Carly a new one tomorrow! Why? Both wronged AJ, but the difference is - Monica had an obligation to treat AJ better. She didn't. Carly and AJ were equally heinous, but at least Carly wasn't his mother. Monica, OTOH, treated AJ like rat droppings and consistently put the constant reminder of her husband's affair above AJ. Out of all of the people who treated AJ poorly, Monica was the worst. She seemed to really hate him. If anyone needs a smack down, Monica is that person! As for AJ, he was just pathetic! But I'll cut him a little due to his parent's blatant contempt of him.
