Well deserved given the stories for Stephanie and Katie. I'm very impressed with Y&R's ratings as well.

I wouldn't be surprised to see B&B continue to rise as they prepare for Stephanie's exit. That's the kind of thing that brings back even long-lapsed viewers.

So the first non-MAB Y&R episode was the lowest rated episode of the week?! WTF?

Did you not see how boring it was? I think it'll be a while before Griffith's work see's a ratings return. It looks lowkey and he's still using the same characters featured on the frontburner during MAB's tenure. Not only that, but he's writing them very much the same. Chelsea/Adam zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Jack is the devil and of course the Phyllis propping with Christine as the villain for forcing Phyllis to try and murder her. They need to step it up.

Friday's are generally the lowest rated episode of the week. Also, off-liners don't go "Hey it's Josh Griffith's first episode! Tell everyone to watch!" It's more like "Who's Josh Griffith? Who's Maria Bell?"

Yeah. The idea that there's this group of viewers out there waiting for a new writer's first episode is kind of hilarious.

And Days had Eileen Davidson return on Friday which flopped...lol...oh Days...as Tootie would say....Somebody is in TROUBLE.......lol

Glad to see B&B up. I wonder if we will see B&B hit 3.0 soon...

I don't think most were sitting around jumping with excitement saying "First day without MAB's script, must watch!"

It's a true sign of the times when a 2.0 for GH is good. It almost seems like yesterday when Y&R was solidly planted at 4.0, B&B at 3 plus and GH at 2 plus. The two CBS soaps have had such padding for years that it seems like it will take them longer than it took GH to slide down to 2.0 and below. They're still apparently doing something more right than GH or they just have an extremely more dedicated bunch of viewers than ABC soaps could muster up.

B&B is off an on for me every time I watch. Sometimes it will be really good then I'll skip a week come back and it's so boring I don't watch for the next few weeks. Then suddenly it's good again.

Wow. A 1.8 for Kristen's return. Yes, Days, way to raise those ratings. ;)

Wasn't too crazy about Eileen returning but I do recognize a lot of people were. However, Days did NO PROMOTION for Eileen's return outside of us knowing about it on message boards! If the show had any promotion budget, ED's face should have been plastered all over the place!!

And Days wonders why it is on the bottom.
