Remember one of Josh Griffith/MAB's first episodes had everybody drinking bottled water because LML wouldn't allow it on the show because it's bad for the environment. She had a lot of little issues like that, but I can't recall all of them right now.

Griffith had a lot of not-so-subtle digs at LML in his first episodes (the bottled water, the flowers, the diamonds, Ashley back for New Years, the "Crime Rate Lowest in 35 Years" newspaper headline). I hope he does the same to MAB.

Which is why it's a good thing LML didn't get to write for Tonya.

She would've made Liv a nympho who did nothing but long for having sex with Brad again.

That's a mess, although Neil seems kind of turned on at the start.

Dru did so much during LML's tenure and they were getting airtime, promo and the Winters were fully integrated into the canvas. It wasn't just Dru, but Devon, Lily and Neil as well. I appreciate that. Say what you will about LML, but she was very politically correct and one of the ways she showed that is how she featured the black characters on Y&R. It also paid off in the ratings. In fact, I'd say Victoria Rowell's exit and the declining ratings is probably a large reason she was fired. This was her most successful story and the lead actress was gone. I would love to have seen what she could do with Tonya Lee Williams as well.

That's why I'm so torn about LML's tenure. She written for the Winters and loved Dru/Victoria Rowell, but just about everything else was a hot mess. All I can remember is the bad stuff like Happy Fun Victor and his dog Zapato, that Pheila mess, etc. She also took whatever character she was interested in and made them the complete opposite who they were or made them completely unrecognizable.
