@DRW50 will be intrigued to learn that according to the latest DWM, a character from 2005 will return for the Christmas special this year.

My bet: Harriet Jones (Penelope Wilton), a fan favorite who was poorly served by RTD in The Christmas Invasion but redeemed and seemingly killed in the Series 4 finale. RTD later seemed to respond to fan love for the character by penning this poem, which retconned her fate.

    I haven’t seen Penelope Wilton in anything since Downton would be nice if she was back in Who as Harriet as long as she stays alive.
