Jen Lilley was mentioned previously as a recast for Abby, and I think she could work well in that role and looks more like Eileen Davidson that the 35 year old looking Marcy Rylan did....

I don't think Marcy looks that old at all. I don't think she looks any older than 25.

I think she looks much older than her age...

I think Jen Lilley could do wonders with the character if its written in a much more natural way, rather than the caricature they gave Rylan (who was miscast IMO for many reasons).

I actually read a post where someone said they will miss MR and what she brought to 30 year old Abby. Um Abby is supposed to be like 22-23 right now.

What about Robyn Richards?

I'd rather they just leave Abby gone for a while instead of recasting. I wouldn't mind Jen Lilley as Summer if they actually had any plans for her.

Jen is too old for Summer, even with the SORAS-ing. It would be another Rylan/Abby situation.

They should definitely have Abby gone for like 6-12 months before recasting.

True. true. But then again I never really find SORAS-ing to be an issue like most do.

I still have always wanted to see Denise Alexander come in as Phyllis and Avery's mother, who has some secretive past with both Jill and Nikki.

But that will never happen, especially under JFP.

I've had enough of Phyllis and her clan for a lifetime.

LOL. I really just want to see Denise Alexander again. She's too good to not be on TV. I still for the life of me can't figure out why DAYs never brought her back. I thought for sure they were going to make Carly her daughter, further fueling the Hope vs. Carly feud.

I'd love if Susan Martin came back to Salem to spice things up.

Nope. She also had a very close relationship with Bill, but he'll stupidly never be a regular character again. But I have always envisioned Maura West as Susan's daughter Annie.
