Love this. It's so VERY VERY VERY 80s, everything that was good about that decade. Kim Carnes eat your heart out.

My fave was the 92-95 Loving theme. Y&RWorldTurner, you're absolutely not alone in loving that one. I also loved OLTL's 1995-04 theme, though I find it decidedly too urban for a soap not set in a big city like NYC or something. I always thought it'dve been better off being saved for The City, or if RH had continued on, use it for that show. But that's just me.

I also really liked AW's 81-86 theme. it struck me as a good update of the original interlocking rings theme, and though I grew up with it, would've been better in the long haul than the 87-96 cheese.

Easily one of my top five soap themes. There's actually a version of it on iTunes. And yes, I have it .

I thought the final season theme was too brassy and mariachi and out of touch with the times.

That strong drum beat of the original they brought back for the Back to the Cul-de-sac opening, now I loved that!

Although I like the shows current theme, I don't mind this one. Sounds more current than the year it represents, ironically, lol.

Love this version of SFT's theme as well. Wish they'd kept this theme when they updated the visuals a year later, as the latin "magical title in the sky" theme was god-awful.

I like jazzy Eastenders too.

I LOVED this opening and theme, my favorite part is the breakdown at :18.

I think the Days of our Lives theme is beautiful and holds up after almost 50 years. I prefer the original before they redid it in the 90s, but it is still incredibly beautiful.

The orchestrated version of the original Another World theme is another favorite of mine.

I loved the theme they used in the closing credits during the final years of The Doctors.

Sunset Beach's original theme is another favorite of mine. Loved the sax.

Oh, I loved this one! I used to get gome mid show so I first heard the closing and I couldn't wait to hear what they'd probably done to the opening.
