Every single song from A Chorus Line is a gem. A Chorus Line not only won a ton of Tony's but a Pulitzer Prize for drama.

I actually loved the score from The Sting and the music from Yentl best I think, both he wrote and completely different. I doubt if you didn't know, you'd guess he wrote the scores to both.

    One of my favorite of his compostiions.. it's one my theme songs, being an eternal perky kind of person:

    In the spring, when the weather is perfect and I'm working.. I sing this regularly while I'm planting flowers :)

    I thought he'd passed away a few years ago.

    I always think of him because of the old SNL sketches when Lisa Loopner was in love with him (I think he even appeared in one).
