Mark Collier as Nick Newman? Robin Christopher as Victoria Newman? Sounds like a happy SON board to me.

I think Jill would cast Robin Christopher in any role she wanted, honestly.

That's untrue. Frankly her recent stints on GH were unmemorable and that was with JFP at the helm.

If she's there to cut cost I don't see her replacing an expensive popular vet with another. I could see her bringing RC in in a short term capacity in another unknown role.

Her recent stints may have been unmemorable, but doesn't that just speak to how willing JFP is to bring her back? The first time they literally brought Skye back for NO reason other than that RC wanted to return. The second time Skye actually had something to do, but still. I think this proves my point.

I'm not sure how much value Griffith will see in Ashley- wasn't she written out before he came on board and brought back after he left? I'm pretty sure she was, so I'm not sure he'd see her value anymore. I'd like to see Brenda Epperson return, but I have to admit it would be bittersweet without Don Diamont there. I've told Brenda she should get her people to pitch her as Kristen Forrester on B&B. I think she'd be pitch perfect for that part and would kill to see a Kristen/Bill pairing. It could seriously invigorate the entire canvas if played right.

I really liked Brenda and I thought she made Ashley into a much warmer and more relatable character. Plus, it was Brenda that was playing Ashley during the height of Jack/Nikki/Victor/Ashley and when Y&R grabbed the #1 spot. I don't know how much Griffith likes the character either, but I think it would be great to have her back.

I pray and hope that JFP falls in love with Jessica Collins like I have because Avery is a character that has legs on this canvas, more than just the go-to attorney that Michael has become. My hunch with Jess Walton is that she's safe as long as she wants to come back and I don't see MTS going anywhere. Genie, on the other hand, will be interesting. IF I were a member of the soap press, I'd be salivating to get her comment on JFP coming aboard. Then we'd see just how good of an actress she actually is. Michelle Stafford is another wild card- I'm not sure how NLG & JFP got along at GH, but she'll give Stafford the skinny on Jill and MS will play the game like she has for years. Like her or not, she's a pro at keeping herself relevant in the soap community.

Jill and NLG are actually very good friends, she'd probably fall into the FOJ category (though not in the same vein as Mark Derwin, Kale Browne, Tim Gibbs, and others)

What you said was JFP would give her any role and I don't agree. She isn't going to recast her as Nikki or even Phyllis or Victoria and frankly recasting those roles wouldn't be popular and I include AH in that. She could recast someone who's been gone for a while or bring her on as someone short term who's a new character.

I'm just happy MAB is gone.

May be new writers and JFP can make this show watchable again. Everything dating back to the New Orleans location shoot needs to be made a dream.

When DAYS is canceled, Eileen will be back at Y&R for its final year or so on the air. I'm betting on it.
