It appears the General Hospital casting call everyone has been talking about all day is in fact for a TJ recast. According to setside sources, Krys Meyer booked a new gig, which has resulted in the role needing to be recast.

According to Soap Opera Digest, the ABC soap has put out a casting call for a character that “sounds awfully similar to the role Molly's boyfriend, TJ, currently played by Krys Meyer.”

SOD’s describes the casting call for “a male, "major, ongoing recurring role" who is "16, African American. Charming, charismatic, very appealing and handsome. A bit cocky, gets into trouble, but has a very soulful, sensitive side."

Yep! You can't even rely on Black Monday's any longer on GH. Now, Shawn, one of the finest men on the planet pops up every 37 eppies to wipe tables and counsel the white characters. TJ, can only be seen when Shawn is seen. I'd love to see the rule book on black characters for ABC Daytime. It seems to be the only tradition Cartooni has stuck with for the show. Everything else, they've "modernized". Idiots!

TJ actually has been used more than Shawn. TJ at least has a semblence of a story. Barely, but theres a skeleton there. Shawn? Diddly squat

And if Sean wasn't under contract he would've probably bounced already. He filmed a role for Star Trek a few months ago. He can do better than GH.

Tj's story consists of making out with Molly a few times a month. Smart young man to find a better job.

The only reason he's being recast is so that they can do the teen pregnancy story for the umpteenth time. But trust - TJ will be the footnote in his own story, especially if Molly falls into a coma.

If they must do a teen pregnancy can it be with Morgan instead of Molly? Carly and Sonny would damn near explode if he came back to town with a pregnant girlfriend.

I can't sit thought the amount of whiny Molly will be doing and how Alexis will be blamed every damn day.

I really liked the actor but after the party at Alexis' we barely saw him.

I don't know but lately everyone's casting call has the word soulful in it. Cuz apparently soulful was in the side for Kristina as well. It just said soulful and fiery.
