I wish this and Our Street, the black soap PBS had a few years later, were available. Members DRW50 Posted July 15, 2012 Author Members Share Posted July 15, 2012 Thanks for finding those! Didn't know any were available. I just watched the first. Considering the low budget I thought it was very effective, aside from the theme song (which borders on self-parody), and the scenes of the people being shot, which were fake. The build-up of his sense of helplessness was very believable, and the actor was strong and likeable. I also like how his war experience clearly shaped him, but he wasn't written as the stereotypical crazy vet. I'm surprised that this got on the air, even on PBS.
