Thanks.

I couldn't get past them going on about how "happy" John is, when he looks as bored as ever. Apparently even they don't care about the dead sister.

Good grief that was a long interview. I stopped at the bit about Melissa Archer. I did crack a big smile when Michael was going on about MB. I swear, all of GH people giving interviews read from the same script.

Fairman has had a mancrush on ME for a long time. Nothing as creepy as Branco's TSJ fixation but definitely a mancrush.

I did not know, but I should have guessed given his endless deep questions. LOL!

And that is the moral of the story; the more you work on the soaps the more screwed up your character ends up being.

Yep very very true

I think one of the things that was easier was bringing some characters over from One Life. I think it got exaggerated a bit. There were only three or four of us from One Life and like 30 plus people in the cast already at GH. It is a small number compared to the size of the cast. It is hard to establish new characters sometimes and takes a lot of groundwork, whereas, these characters can come in from Llanview whether you like ‘em or don’t like ‘em. They can hit the ground running and you know who you are.

Well said ME

I wonder what his idea of "groundwork" is. The intros of John and Starr were shockingly poor.

I think that was his point. That the OLTL characters don't need an introduction because most people already know who they are. A new character would need more of an introduction and would take more work to establish them before giving them any thing cataclysmic to work with.

And yet "Cartini" ignored all of this.
