What!! That really is disappointing. I was hoping for a Summer Brooke/Deacon hook-up! Or at least some real drama to be made with Hope/Deacon/Brooke. Damn, Brad

I haven't watched in months but was just about to start catching up on Deacon's return. Guess there's no need to now. What a waste of time and opportunity.

They've worked so hard not to have him as part of the story, I'm a little surprised he ever came back at all. It's too bad, as B&B has very bad leading men.

Keep in mind that there are rumors of backstage stuff happening with a lady on the show that doesn't exactly like him (or, well, his character).

this show has four regular characters/actors and the rest are basically recurring/infrequent guest stars...if you want to watch hope/liam/stephanie/brooke every day, then this is your show.

Well keep in mind that it's B&B. Even if they had made him permanent, he would've languished on the back burner after his storyline wrapped up and then got cut to recurring in six months. Probably better this way.

But I also thought it would be JY or Adam Gregory. One of them has to be out soon. I just feel it coming. And is Zack Conroy still with the show? Why aren't they using Oliver? I've always liked him.

I don't see any real problem with Jacob Young, although his stories aren't great. I do think Thomas needs to go. The only way I would keep him is if he marries Dayzee and she becomes a scheming corporate climber.

So blind item solved about the returning character who we wouldn't see much of. I bet Deacon will be back to Genoa City soon.

I hope he never returns to Y&R. I'm still pissed that they had Deacon bash Diane's head in after Nikki began the bashing. Y&R's idiot writers did Deacon no favors whatsoever.

how far in advance does B&B tape? SK could be on-screen for a couple of months. with all the promo that went into it - two weeks the main B&B promo featured Deacon, I'm guessing that either the story wasn't playing out well. B&B unlike other shows seems to be quite good at quickly moving on if something's not working.
