The thing is, you can give that same material to the girl who played Lisa or whoever and it might be ok at best. Robin Mattson however, being someone who can do no wrong, takes the stuff and just makes love to the crazy dialogue with her Lauren Bacall type voice, the best voice in daytime.

Oh I totally agree with you. I think she's wonderful, she and Jane Elliot are the only ones we have left on daytime who can bring this. But there's nothing you can do with crap like that walkabout/expository dialogue gone wild stuff she had last week.

I think she's too old to be having that type of story. I just cant see Lesly getting down with sleeping around with a married man. I always view her more respectable and responsible than that and I think it would ruin her. (not that there's much there) That sounds right up RC's alley though, "honoring" history by repeating it with a twist.

It would be interesting - especially if he was a former member of the OLTL cast, but not an OLTL character. Plenty of retakes in the beginning, I'd imagine.</p>

I truly love LuNacy because I love the interplay between Luke and Tracy for the most part (until he becomes more of a louse and she a nag), but I've always wanted someone completely out of Luke's league to capture Tracy interest for herself alone, and not ELQ, her money or her connections.</p>

I don't like those showdowns, because Tracy is ultimately always portrayed as the looser. I'd like her to be the winner, fair and clean. After this many years, she deserves it. The only thing giving her the lead in the current competition for Luke, is the length of their relationship and how well they know each other.

I say no to Clint bc I like his ending with Viki and imagine them married. I dont want their resolution to be messed wtih with him getting involved with Dorian, um I mean Tracy. Been there, done that with those two

I'd be delighted if we learned Clint/Viki weren't together, mostly because I don't believe Viki would be with a man who terrorized children. But I just can't take any more "Cartini" writing for the character.

Long ago I posted a 1982 article with Jerry and Jane at his fan event. They seemed great together from the little I've watched of that era, but then she was fired.
