May 5, 201214 yr Member So Will makes the drunk faces of righteous indignation because...the Dimeras are doing exactly what they've always done? I thought he just loved them. Please.
May 5, 201214 yr Member this plot was so NOT written by MARDAR...this is like the airplane disaster plot during the writers' strike which was penned by Mr/Mrs Higly and Victor Gialanella...is it any wonder Victor Gialanella is back on staff.....is Higly ghost writing? Remember it's Corday's show and he kept Higly for many, many years.....

May 5, 201214 yr Member How do you know it was not written by MarDar? Sami and Abe aren't having dead relative grief sex.
May 6, 201214 yr Member This commercial is weird. We know Stefano is guilty, we saw the ISA agent talking to him. Who cares if a guilty man has to prove his innocence? Happy Mother's Day, Sami.
May 6, 201214 yr Member can this show survive if they fired alison sweeney?? i hope so cause she is one that i want to see gone!!! a sami-less DAYS? i can hope
May 6, 201214 yr Member No. They're pretending, to fool Stefano. It's already been spoiled - this show seems to give everything away.
May 7, 201214 yr Member I would guess Samantha is more upset about Rafe being "deceased" than about her mother. It will be interesting to if Marlena being "gone" plays a role in her reaction. Last time a soap kept a story out of spoilers is when Storm accidentally shot Katie, no one saw it coming and there were even fake spoilers circulated to keep the audience from knowing.
May 7, 201214 yr Member This is absolutely classic MarDar. They have a great premise -- six major characters are believed dead -- and have endless possibilities of having people in Salem mourn them and actually do things in response to those "deaths." Spoilers say that Brady pledges to rebuild Basic Black in honor of John. Imagine what that could involve and how much conflict it could cause with Madison if he focuses on business, not her. And Sami could turn over a new leaf, regretting how she treated Marlena, John, Carrie and Rafe. Will could lose it, having lost the one family member he could really rely upon. Yet, as with most of MarDar's storylines, there is no real follow-through. We'll get a few days of "mourning" and then the family members wil learn that the six are not really dead. Since that could have been revealed from the start, it really is just cheap theatrics with no logical purpose. I would guess Samantha is more upset about Rafe being "deceased" than about her mother. It will be interesting to if Marlena being "gone" plays a role in her reaction. I think the last time Days managed to keep something significant unspoiled was Anna's return in 2010 during the Sydnapping.

The show wouldn't even have to give it away to know those people aren't dead. Death on Days has no meaning after the Salem Stalker storyline. Even 6 years later. Death just doesn't matter and I wish they'd stop going to that well.

Hell, with the amount of convulsive near-deaths and flatlining that happened during Higley 2.0, you'd think theyd've learned their lesson, but no.
