Members frequentsoapfan
Post of the day. OLTL under Cartina was highly overrated because for tha past year I've been trying to figure out what everyone has been talknig about with them being the best soap writers ever. Members OLTL_fan
Was never really bored with OLTL. It went through its bad periods like the Eli stuff you mentioned. Only time I ever felt bored was anything Rex/Gigi. I'm not happy they dropped or put on hold TJ/Molly. I was interested on what could happen there. I can care less about this Maxie story. I can't feel anything for JL since she hasn't been in the role long enough. I just can't find any of it believeable. I'm actually enjoying the Kate/Connie/Sonny/Johnny story. Sorry fellow Megan Ward fans. +1. What a mess that was.
Members Cheap21
LMAO +1! Wolfe's material was turn off the tv, drop the show and take it off your DVR schedule inducing, at least for me. The show isnt perfect, but watchable for me
Members frequentsoapfan
Wolfe only did two good things during his entire run. One was kill Abby the whispery strooker and the other was send Kristina away so we were free from her whining. Now if only Sonny would've sent Michael to South America, or his island or wherever. Members Mr. Vixen
Yes! It was awful. It started off well, with Monica and Skye's returns, but it died FAST.
Members Cheap21
what a tease that was. I cant beleive after all the build up, he dropped Tracey's story and never brought on the Soleitos
Members frequentsoapfan
I didn't want yet another mob family I don't care for on the show. They arent even Tracy's family. I wanted Tracy to be in a business storyline with a rival
Members Cheap21
Just realized that Franco is now a Quartermaine, well I guess a dead one and look at what Tracy has now? Nothing. The Soleitos were a big part of her histroy on the City which went largely ignored for years. Considering how mob centric GH had become in the last decade, its a shock Guza never took advantage of the connections there. Wolfe should have followed through with it. It had potential
Members frequentsoapfan
We've seen the mob rival story play out on Gh several times. It's always ends the same and it wouldn't have been about Tracy anyway. It would've been about Sonny and Jason and their pain and then the family would've been killed. And not everyone watched The City.
Members Cheap21
It wouldnt have to be a mob war as Gino, Tracy's husband is dead. Initial plans were to bring on his granddaughter Gina Not eveyone watched the City, but the story didnt require you needed it as the history was pretty much laid up easy enough to pick up on when Skye returned and threw it in Tracy's face. Ignoring that The City ever occurred, its easily digestible as backstory from Tracy's lost years from 1993- 2003
Members frequentsoapfan
The insiders said they had no plans to bring on Gina, that she was just the cover because they wanted to get rid of Kristina and were plannnig on recasting. And how would bringing on an unrelated teen girl give story to Tracy? They didn't even want to give story to Tracy when her own granddaughter came back. Gh doesn't need the Soleitos to give Tracy a story. We need Ned, a recast Dillion, and Brooklynn back.
Members Cheap21
The granddaughter would have been the first with her parents to follow
Members frequentsoapfan
And what does that create? A useless mob family for Sonny and Jason to fight over territory with. Like I said Tracy has a family with plenty of potential. You have Dillion the director, Brooklynn the singer, Ned the CEO of a record label and singer/songwriter. What's wrong with Tracy's actual family?
Members Cyberologist
I know she is a popular actress but on this show she's a terrible & with Michael its hard for me to watch..Together they are awful...I enjoyed Anna's scenes.
Members Mr. Vixen
Not everyone watched One Life to Live, either. Look how much the writer's care. And I say that as someone who doesn't mind the OLTL invasion (sans Starr, so far).
