Although the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences has yet to confirm whether or not the 39th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be televised, they have made a rather shocking announcement regarding the ceremony, set to take place on Saturday, June 23, during a banquet at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. While most of the major categories will be recognized at the banquet, the presentation of Emmys to the Outstanding Younger Actor and Outstanding Younger Actress winners has now been relegated to the Creative Arts ceremony, which will be held on Sunday, June 17.

The daytime drama categories that will be presented during the banquet are Drama Series, Lead Actress, Lead Actor, Supporting Actress, Supporting Actor, Writing Team and Directing Team. Additionally, Outstanding New Approaches in Daytime Entertainment will be recognized, along with naming the best in talk show, legal/courtroom show, culinary and game show (and hosts), morning program, children's performer and children's animated program.
