God she was irritating in those clips! The compact clips have me immersed in 1999 DAYS now on youtube. Nicole just married Lucas, Sami is about to be executed, and Gope is trying to get Rolf to re-activate John's memories. The show is absolutely on fire in the episodes I'm watching and I'm addicted now. One realization that John has come to in the clips I'm watching is that he no longer cares about the past and just wants to focus on the future. Instead of DAYS trying to replay its Greatest Hits of the 90s, they should do the same.

Different Austin. Maybe if Peck was back but he's not. I still want to know who Greta's father is and I always wanted it to be John. I however dont want that brought back under these writers bc they'd make a mess of things

So how did they explain Gina's blonde streak re-appearing? Was it instantaneous, or did Gina find a hair dresser who could allude Stephano's henchmen and sneak into his secured hotel room.

Carrie and Marlena are a lot to fun to watch. I hope they keep scenes like this up; it is good to see Carrie acting like Carrie again.

I love how tan and yummy James Scott is looking.

Sami and Lucas still have it. The rapport and the back-and-forth is still so well timed, which is so important in the world of soaps because of the lack of rehearsal time the actors get. As always, I wish the scenes there were longer.

I do believe Kristian Alfonso is outacting Drake to become Days' worst actress today. That accent is awful. And Princess Gina and the Pawn have absolutely zero romantic chemistry, just like back in 1996. Man, I'd rather see the resurgence of Nighttime Hope than this stale mess.

On the upside, Sami/Alison Sweeeney has her mojo back now that Bryan Datillo is back in town. Her scenes with James Scott and Christie Clark have also been on point recently.

I doubt they regret it at all, as it gave the ending of rafe/sami, ej/nicole, aiding in the rafe/carrie romance and the rafe/nicole plot. they got a lot of play out of that fabulous moment. plus all the will/sami/marlena stuff they got out of it. and that experience and its fallout is leading way to a new dynamic between ej/sami and this lucas/sami thing.

and how are they supposed to reference it? everytime its brought up point out that it was dead baby grief sex? that would be so awkward. then again this is the show that ignored ej raping sami, sami raping austin, etc..
