A couple of my college classmates are experiencing personal highs. Lawrence St. Victor (B&B) and Shay Flake are new parents and Lawrence's Wed-Locked series with Karla Mosely will appear in the L.A. film festival in October.  Constance Wu's (OLTL) Crazy Rich Asians continues to chart highly!

Daniel Cosgrove (daytime's Paula Marshall) is recurring on Lifetime's new drama 'You'.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Jessica Bennett, PSSNS) is too good for this but was just cast as the Huntress in DC's Birds of Prey film.

I saw Dorothy Lyman on The FBI yesterday, as the cantankerous mother of a bad guy. She was in one of those power wheelchairs. I'm not sure if it was for the character or if she uses it. 

 

Marcia Cross posted on Instagram about her battle with anal cancer. She says she is in remission now.

 

 

 

I suppose she doesn't really count as a soap star, but Danielle Spencer, best known for What's Happening (she was on DAYS in 2001), has had medical problems and someone has set up a GoFundMe for her.

Reign Edwards (Nicole, B&B) is in the new horror movie Hell Fest. She’s great in it and it really exemplifies how soaps are wasting the talents of their younger crop of actors.

Same for Rome Flynn who currently happens to be holding his own opposite Viola Davis.

On MacGYVER Friday night, Reign Edwards (exB&B) continued her recurring role.  That same night on HAWAII 5-0, Jack Coleman (ex-Steven Carrington, DYNASTY, ex-Jake Kositcheck, DAYS) guest-starred as an FBI Agent, and in promos for next week's episode, will appear again.  So it may be a recurring role.
