Those are the worst! I've been meaning to tell Stephanie that. I'll tell her next time I see her. That feels like a Pixie! thing that was forced on them.

I don't know Pixie! (and I'm kind of glad). That would make sense, if it was forced on them.

I actually think the cover layout looks better now than in recent years but I can't take that cursive which always reminds me of someone trying to appeal to a 10 year old girl from sometime in 1950.

Well we haven't had one about soap opera message boards and the people with connections to terrorists who claim they ghost wrote some awful storyline plot point for a soap opera, while network executives tried to interfere and scrapped their work out of fear of retaliation. I mean, you can't make that ish up!

They'll do that movie eventually! or maybe not since ABC owns a large portion of Lifetime.

I had forgotten about her, but actually, she was better on DAYS than Lindsay Hartley ended up being...

She was a far better git. She worked well with Eric, Galen, James and Ali. Something LH didnt do well, at all.

Go Sherri!

http://rdsn.net/buzz/2012/11/28/former-daytime-star-sherri-saum-books-stint-on-abcs-revenge/

Former “Sunset Beach” and “One Life to Live” star, Sherri Saum, took to Twitter and announced that she has booked a spot on the hit ABC series, “Revenge.”

“Oooh – just booked a juicy role on #Revenge on ABC. Hope I get some. Revenge that is.”

Who could she play in the Hamptons? Could it be possible that maybe her character could have ties to Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe)? Only time will tell..

Saum also has landed a lead role in the ABC Family pilot, “The Fosters,” from Jennifer Lopez. Saum plays the role of Lena, and the show revolves around a lesbian interracial couple who are raising adoptive and biological children.

It's an interesting dynamic. There are fewer roles for black women than for white women in both daytime and primetime, yet primetime offers more opportunities for recurring roles and guest spots. When looking to cast a black female, there is a smaller, more focused pool of black actresses that will probably get seen.
