Members DramatistDreamer
I saw Jonathan Hogan, who played Jason Benedict, Iva Snyder's husband on As The World Turns, on the first few episodes of Season 3 House of Cards. He's playing Supreme Court Chief Justice Jacobs.
Members slick jones
Penn Badgely formerly Phillip IV of Y&R and Gossip Girl appears on the Slap, and is probably the only person I can stomach on this show.
Members DramatistDreamer
Have you seen the original Australian mini-series? I thought that was pretty good. I haven't seen the American remake though.
Members slick jones
Please, If you love drama, don't waste your time. These pretetious....I won't rant, it';s not worth it, but I will say some parents SHOULD discipline their children, because when they are as horrible as that child (acts) it's not a surprise someone else felt the need to. And then the parents are telling anyone who will listen that not only is the child"SCARRED FOR LIFE", but the parents are "SCARRED FOR LIFE" as well... If anyone on the show needs a slap, it's the rotten kids horrendous mother,.
Members All My Shadows
Yeah, I'm very strongly against using physical violence to teach a child right from wrong, but even I want to vomit when I see the promos for that nonsense.
Members slick jones
Melissa George is selling it, one of the reasons why I think it pisses me off. I just don't understand how a parent gets "scarred" from her brat being awful and no one even yells at him for it! I'm not a parent, but I spend a lot of time helping out my nephew and nieces. I get how difficult it is, but I just don't get this "Scarred for life" crap...
Members YRBB
Nobody seems aware, from articles writing about THE SLAP, to people watching, that it was, originally, a BOOK, turned Australian miniseries, turned US miniseries.

Members DRW50
The wonderful Tovah Feldsuh (ex-RH and as I best know her, John's lady love Dr. Bethany Rose on ATWT) joined the Walking Dead cast tonight.
Members DramatistDreamer
Honestly, the best thing about the original miniseries was Sophie Okonedo's estimable performance but the rest of the Oz cast was fine. I saw an ad for the U.S. version and nothing about it tempted me to watch. Nothing about Peter Sarsgaard screams son of Greek immigrants to me. From what I'm reading that is about the least of this version's problems.
Members Bright Eyes
80's Sharon Watts, EastEnders (Letitia Dean) and Freddie Roscoe, Hollyoaks (Charlie Clapham) were in my dreams last night.

Members Bright Eyes
It really wasn't. I swear. I don't even understand why someone like Clapham would be in the recesses of my mind anyway. I much prefer lumberjack Joe.
