I know I know, but it's a good sign that I saw some still in the grocery store a few days ago. I whizzed by them and meant to get one on the way back.

I did a look tonight while I was busy buying my weekend smokes and liquor (hey these are hard times for a soap fan--or some excuse), went to about 6 stores but no sign of the OLTL volume--but I think living on Vancouver Island we often get magazines a bit late--the two stores that carried regular SOD (I remember as a kid when EVERY store carried it) didn't have the issue with the OLTL farewell either, but last week's, so I'll have to wait.

I'm going to try to look for this later today. For whatever reason, I never found the AMC one, and since most stores might not even have a random one lying around now, I wouldn't mind asking for it as a birthday present next month (Hooray for Amazon!).

SOD/SOW put it out together but it's a large size format with a spine--if that makes sense. I found my AMC one not with the soap rags but with the other special and commemorative magazines (things like a Royal Wedding magazine etc).

Walmart and Target did carry the ATWT one. When I looked for it at Walmart I couldnt find it because like Eric said the tribute booklet wasnt located with all the soap mags and celeb mags. Instead they were with the other magazines in another part of the store. Good thing at Target I thought of checking both areas when I couldnt find it in the soap mags area at Target too.

No, I meant for the OLTL SOD/SOW special. Thanks though--I actually did get my hardcover copy from Amazon as I couldn't find it here (but I did find the AMC SOD/SOW after TONS of looking as I mentioned--in a different magazine section).

So funny you should bring this up because I have not had either in two days and while l feel very good, physically and pat myself on the backedly, I am kind of missing them in the swing of my weekend/late night routine. Oh I will certainly drink again, like tomorrow, but it's killing that craving for the smoke with the drink that I have really got to work on. Of course not drinking would solve that, but, oy...

That's the only time I smoke--unless it's during grad exams or something--when i drink (which cuz of my work and school schedule being so busy is only on weekends). Bad habit... (this should probably be a seperate thread lol--What bad habits do you justify by the death of soaps? )

I know with the ATWT SOD/SOW you could order it directly as they had information on their website. I know the AMC SOD/SOW is not available in that way, but the people who do the Tribute to Pine Valley Event were selling copies. Perhaps if they have a Llanview store they will sell the OLTL SOD/SOW.

I didn't have a problem finding the AMC SOD/SOW in my area, which was truly odd as I saw it in about four different stores. I hope I can get the OLTL magazine as easily.
